Stamping stamping is a process of stamping electronic connectors (pins) with thin metal strips by means of large high-speed stamping machines. Plating connector pins should be sent to plating stage after stamping. In the electroplating stage, the electronic contact surface of the connector will be coated with various metal coatings, nickel plating, tin plating and semi-gold plating to prevent oxidation and enhance conductivity. In the process of feeding stamped pins into plating equipment, distortion, fragmentation or deformation will also occur. These quality defects can be easily detected by the above technology.

Molding refers to the injection of molten plastic into the metal membrane of the plastic box seat of the electronic connector, which is then made by rapid cooling. Attention should also be paid to the detection of "leakage quot" when the melted plastic is not fully filled with the membranes; (Short Shots), which is a typical defect to be detected in the injection stage. Other defects include filling or partial blockage of sockets (these sockets must be kept clean and unobstructed so that they can be correctly connected to the pin at final assembly).

The final stage of assembly electronic connector manufacturing is finished product assembly. There are two ways to assemble electroplated pins and injection box sockets: one is to insert one pin at a time, the other is to insert multiple pins at the same time with the box socket. No matter which insertion method is adopted to assemble, it is necessary to ensure that all insertion pins can not be missing and positioned correctly.
